Essential Qualification

As per discipline requirements:

  • Fire Officer (Executive Level L1) : Bachelor’s degree in engineering in Fire/ Fire & Safety (minimum aggregate percentage of 60% marks
Age Criteria
Cut-off date:
  • Maximum 40 years for Unreserved (UR) and maximum 43 years for OBC (NCL) category candidates the post of Fire Officer.
  • In addition to the upper age limit specified above, Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) category candidates having minimum 40% disability are entitled for 05 (Five) years relaxation for posts identified suitable for PwBD category.
  • Relaxation in age for Ex-servicemen is as per rules of Government of India.
  • The cutoff date for deciding the maximum permissible age shall be 07/11/2026
Application Fee
  • General and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.118/- (Rs. 100 application fee plus Rs. 18 GST) while applying online. Any additional charges (like bank service charges etc.) have to be borne by the applicant.
  • SC/ST PwBD / Ex-Serviceman categories are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
